JOHN BOSCO STREET, SLIEMA SLM 1935 As Christmas draws near we remember the fact that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, chose to be born from the Virgin Mary, wife of St. Joseph who looked after Jesus just as if he was his own son. God himself chose to be born in a family and to be taken care of by a mother and a father who were wed together. As we celebrate this wondrous event that has forever impacted humanity, let us also ask the Holy Family to intercede and pray for all families in the world because as St.John Paul II rightly stated, “as the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live.” Have a serene Christmas and a blessed grace-filled New Year 2018.
