St Patricks - DBVS

It often happens that people wish to give of their time and talents to help St. Patrick's children. Suitable applicants are often involved as Volunteers where, with some guidance and mentoring, they can play a number of roles within the structure of St. Patrick's residential services for children in need of care and protection. The DBVS welcomes these Volunteers, matches their talents with the needs of the resident children and generally guides their work within St. Patrick's. The DBVS also works closely with the National Agency of the European Union's Youth Programmes Unit. Here DBVS is involved in a number of projects such as supporting Youth Initiatives; in hosting European volunteers within St. Patrick's and in organizing international initiatives with like-minded organizations catering for young people.
