What We Do-old

“The school was not the end; it was rather the instrumental means for improving the way of life.”

Don Bosco

Our motto, Da Mihi Animas, Cetera Tolle, translates to: Give me souls and take everything else. What may appear as a peculiar saying reveals the salvation of the young as the ultimate purpose of our life and the ascetical programme that Don Bosco wanted us to live. The simple words remind us of Don Bosco’s profound humanity and spirituality, the “splendid blending of nature and grace” to which we are drawn and by which we are inspired to mould the plan of our lives. All our work is based on the development, dynamism and continuous improvement of Valdocco in Don Bosco’s time, with a central objective – to educate our young hollistically – spititually, mentally and physically.

All Salesian settings and initiatives are for our youngsters:

a HOME that welcomes

a PARISH that evangelises

a SCHOOL that prepares them for life

a PLAYGROUND where friends can meet and enjoy themselves

In Malta, the Salesian entities which are the “centers of operation” of the activities devoted to the formation of our young are two schools and four oratories:

St. Patrick’s (other webpages: St. Patrick’s Salesian School Malta and Facebook)

Savio College (other webpages: Savio College Malta and Facebook)

Oratory Dingli

Oratory Senglea

Oratory Sliema

Oratory Gozo
